In our experience, this system is the most likely to cause the project to run over time. This is often due to the shipyard delays in fabrication of the pipework, modifications and errors. During vessels docking for special surveys our team of experienced UTM Gauging professionals can carry out thickness measurements and marking.

In addition to steel thickness measurements we are able to offer UT testing of welds as part of the New Build and Ship Repair process along with other Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).

Seal renewal can be done in the dock through bonding without withdrawing the shaft or with the shaft removed. Whilst the vessel is afloat providing the preparations have been made to trim the vessel by the head and the required access has been made we can also carry out seal renewal.
